The 2019 RR Poet Allusion is a blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc, all sourced from our own distinctive PineBrake Vineyard. The wine has already been very well received by several leading critics, but what is much more important to us is that it is well received by you! It is our sincere hope that this wine will add to, or share in, some of your life's most memorable experiences.  

Although this wine will be lovely to drink now, it has been made for cellaring. If drinking now, this wine requires at least a full hour decant to fully open up and express its many complexities and nuances, and a 2-3 hour decant would be ideal. It will easily cellar and improve for 20+ years.

If you are located in a state to which we cannot ship, the store will not allow your order to be processed during checkout. If you live in a neighboring state to one of the above, we’d be happy to ship to an alternate location (i.e. UPS Store, Business Location, Family Member, etc.) in one of those states for you to pick up there (please make arrangements with those locations prior to ordering).

Once your order is placed, it may take up to 2 business days to pack and label your wines for shipment. This time is not included in the shipping time (i.e. if you choose an overnight shipping method, you should add 2 business days to the total shipment time).

You can also pick up your wines at our temperature-controlled warehouse, located in Walla Walla, WA. Please select ‘Pick Up’ as your shipping option when you check out, and we’d be happy to accommodate you!

If you are located outside the US, there is a good chance we may be able to ship directly to you; however, you will not be able to check out through our online store. If you would like to pursue this, please contact us.

Weather Holds:

Wine quality is highly sensitive to very low, and especially very high temperatures. To ensure wine transported by ground arrives in excellent condition, we will hold ground shipments when temperatures are expected to fall below 30° or exceed 80° Fahrenheit, either in your area or en route. In some cases, this may result in a significant delay (weeks, or even months, during the hottest parts of summer or coldest parts of winter). If you order wine during the winter or summer months, we are happy to store your wines in our temperature-controlled warehouse until temperatures are ideal for shipping in the Spring or Fall. Note: using an air shipping method will override a weather hold. Currently, there are virtually no areas in the US that we can safely ship wine via ground shipping due to high temperatures.

Please know that we want you to receive your wine as soon as possible, but more importantly - we want you to receive the wine in excellent condition!
